‘The Orphanage’ Coming to Blu-ray in April (Updated with Specs)

The studio previously known as New Line Home Entertainment, now absorbed by Warner Home Video, has announced the Guillermo del Toro produced Spanish horror film The Orphanage will released April 22 on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with the standard DVD release.

The Orphange will be the first (previously) New Line title released since the studio was gobbled up and dissolved into Warner Brothers.

New Line/Warner will present The Orphanage on Blu-ray in widescreen 1080p video and Spanish 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

Supplemental features will include the following, none of which are exclusive to Blu-ray.

  • Horror in the Unknown: Make-Up featurette
  • Rehearsal Studio ” Director J. A. Bayona with the cast during rehearsals
