The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film on Blu-ray 3D in November

Break out for Vuvuzela horn. The 64-minute documentary The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film will mark the first sports title available on Blu-ray 3D when it arrives in stores on November 16 via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The unrated documentary features highlights and more from this past summer’s World Cup matches. Select games were broadcast in 3D including the opening match between Mexico and host city South Africa.

Sony continues to lead the Blu-ray 3D charge as the new format enters its first holiday shopping season. The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film marks the fourth standalone title the studio is offering on Blu-ray 3D. The other three are Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Monster House and Open Season.

Click here to pre-order The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film on Blu-ray 3D for $27.99 at Amazon.com, and be on the lookout for the final cover art which I’ll add as soon as received from Sony.
