Warner Home Video has officially announced what they’ve been teasing in trade magazines and Blu-ray Disc inserts for the past couple of months.
On March 31, Warner will release the first Matrix film separate from the two sequels for the first time on Blu-ray Disc.
To commemorate the release which ties into the 10th anniversary of the film, Warner has bestowed it with Digi-book packaging that includes an all-new 47-page collectible booklet with various facts and information about the film.
Other new additions not found in The Ultimate Matrix Collection box set released a few short months ago include a digital copy of the film and what appears to be a new In-Movie Experience picture-in-picture track. Additional bonus features will likely be ported from the previous release found in the UMC set.
The Matrix: 10th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray will retail for $34.99. Sneak a peek at the Digi-book artwork below, and be on the lookout for a high-res version and pre-order information in the days ahead.
