The Lego Movie Blu-ray 3D and DVD Pre-Order Live but No Release Date Yet

The Lego Movie Blu-ray 3D and DVD Pre-Order Live but No Release Date YetThe Lego Movie has been built into a box office juggernaut and should prove equally huge when it makes its Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD debut this summer. In fact, you can already lock in your pre-order for the hit flick right now and take advantage of Amazon’s low price guarantee that offers the cheapest price up until the item ships.

Currently Amazon is accepting pre-orders for three different dics-based versions of The Lego Movie. The complete package comes in the Blu-ray 3D combo pack, which also includes the film on Blu-ray, DVD and a Digital copy (Ultraviolet). This version has an SRP of $44.95 with Amazon selling it for $29.99, or 33 percent off.

The Blu-ray combo version includes everything the 3D version does except for obviously the film on Blu-ray 3D. This combo pack’s SRP is $35.99 with Amazon’s price coming in at $24.99. The DVD version is the cheapest of the three and also includes a Digital copy. It is priced at $14.96 or half off the nearly $30 retail price.

The Lego Movie just completed its third consecutive weekend topping the North American box office with $31.3 million. Its domestic box office total now stands at $183 million and worldwide ticket sales are at $275 million. With the way The Lego Movie continues to perform, it should top $400 million at the worldwide box office.

The Lego Movie is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and stars the voices of Will Arnett, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Morgan Freeman, Charlie Day, Cobie Smulders, and Nick Offerman.

We will pass along The Lego Movie Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD release date as soon as Warner Bros. formally announces it. Given the February 7 theatrical bow, I would anticipate seeing The Lego Movie make its disc-based debut in mid-to-late May, possibly on the Tuesday before Memorial Day weekend.
