The King’s Speech may still be expanding at the theatrical box office, but that hasn’t stopped Anchor Bay Home Entertainment and the Weinstein Company from penciling in a home video release date.
Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for The King’s Speech on Blu-ray and DVD with a published release date of April 19. This release would come after the Academy Awards, of course, where the film is expected to gobble up a handful of Oscars and battle with The Social Network for Best Picture.
