Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is taking advantage of The Karate Kid remake’s June 11 debut with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan replacing Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita to revisit the original and its sequel on Blu-ray Disc for the first time.
The Karate Kid and The Karate II will arrive May 11 on Blu-ray as standalone releases and bundled together. The lesser popular third and fourth installments will sit this round out.
Both original Karate Kid films will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio with the following bonus features:
