When The Dark Knight on Blu-ray first appeared on Amazon we thought for sure it would remain entrenched in the top Blu-ray sales spot right through its release. The big green guy had other plans.
Universal’s stellar treatment of The Incredible Hulk on Blu-ray complete with neon green packaging has built sales momentum since its release this past Tuesday. So much momentum that as of this morning, The Dark Knight is looking up to The Incredible Hulk on Blu-ray from the number two spot.
The rest of Amazon’s top Blu-ray sellers are relatively unchanged with Iron Man hanging on in number three, followed by Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and next month’s Wall-E (view all of Amazon’s top Blu-ray sellers).
Despite being well-received, none of Fox’s new classic James Bond on Blu-ray releases appear in the top 10. The Amazon exclusive James Bond Six-Pack on Blu-ray is currently number 12.
