The Grinch to Visit Blu-ray Twice in October

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas starring Jim Carrey will complete its jump from HD DVD to Blu-ray Disc on October 13, one week after Warner releases the original Grinch cartoon on Blu-ray.

The Grinch on Blu-ray will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and will be accompanied by a D-BOX Motion Control track.

Universal is billing this release as a combo pack that includes a DVD version of the film. On that DVD are four bonus features not included on Blu-ray edition as noted below.
