Seth Rogen and Jay Chou will ride the Black Beauty onto Blu-ray Disc, Blu-ray and DVD in either late April or May. Thanks to Amazon you hardcore Green Hornet fans can lock in a pre-order for any of the skus right now.
It was always a safe assumption that The Green Hornet would be released on Blu-ray 3D given publisher Sony’s big push to put 3D entertainment into homes. Amazon’s pre-order confirms that The Green Hornet will be the first Blu-ray 3D title from the studio since January’s Piranha 3D.
Right now Amazon has the Blu-ray 3D version of The Green Hornet (which also includes the 2D version and DVD) priced at $31.99 from a $49.99 SRP. The standard Blu-ray version is priced at $22.99 from a $34.95 SRP. There is no DVD included with the 2D Blu-ray.
