The Flash Movie Script, Green Lantern 2 Treatment Due by Christmas

While director Martin Campbell and his team work feverishly to whip The Green Lantern film into shape via visual effects and editing, work is underway elsewhere to prepare for the next two big superhero films to fall under the DC Comics banner.

According to Deadline, scribes Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are will be turning in a new draft of The Flash movie script to Warner Bros. by Thanksgiving. Greg Berlanti helped with the story and is a long shot to direct, though no official decision regarding a director – or a release date for that matter – has been made.

Meanwhile, the same writing team is also expected to deliver a treatment for The Green Lantern 2 to the studio by Christmas. Warner Bros. is excited by how The Green Lantern is shaping up and wants to keep the pedal to the medal on the franchise without significant downtime between films. They’ll also need to secure their time with star Ryan Reynolds whom has become one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood. Who would have thought.
