Online retailer Amazon.com has listed and begun taking pre-orders for The Day the Earth Stood Still on Blu-ray Disc with an SRP of $34.99.
The listing quotes a December 2 release date which puts it in stores 10 days before the December 12 release of the remake starring Keanu Reeves.
We’ve also been able to glean from the listing that Fox intends to give The Day the Earth Stood Still a special edition treatment.
Full details will become available with Fox’s official announcement which we expect to receive, along with high resolution cover art, in the days ahead.
