The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray and DVD has a release date and that date is Monday, December 3.
The confirmation came today from a YouTube video posted by Warner Bros. Actually the video itself only says to look for the film on Blu-ray and digital download. The release date is printed in the bottom of the description that accompanies the video.
It is anticipated that Warner Bros. will release a Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy Blu-ray box set alongside The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray and DVD debut on December 3. That set has not been announced, though we’re definitely on the lookout for it.
Expect Warner Bros. to formally announce The Dark Knight Rises starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman on Blu-ray and DVD between now and the end of this month, if not as soon as this week. Once it is announced we’ll have all the details, cover art and pre-order information to share.
