The Dark Knight on Blu-ray Disc is selling briskly at online retailer Amazon.com, but not quite as fast as James Cameron’s recently released Avatar.
Amazon has lowered the price of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight below $10 to $9.49, the lowest price its ever been listed for at the site. It typically sells in the $15-$19 range.
The lower price has vaulted The Dark Knight from the lower to middle top 10 hourly Blu-ray bestsellers at Amazon into the number two slot. Avatar, already the bestselling Blu-ray of all-time, remains entrenched in number one where it will likely remain for months to come.
