Rumors suggesting David Arquette and his wife Courtney Cox might be joining Scream 4 were confirmed earlier today straight from a source hard to argue with.
“We are going to be doing Scream 4,” Arquette told E! Online. “Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct.”
Now the only piece missing for a Scream reunion on film is Neve Campbell who already told scribe Kevin Williamson she wants no part of being chased by freaks in ghoul masks yet again. Maybe the Arquettes coming on board might change her mind?
“I hope Neve does it. I really hope so,” David continued when questioned about Neve’s participation. By now you would think Williamson has reworked his outline sans Sidney Prescott. Or maybe he knows more than he’s letting on.
