Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released the final specs and cover art for The 6th Day on Blu-ray Disc, due in stores April 8. Upon browsing the specs, our eyes stopped on something that has never appeared on a Sony Blu-ray title before.
The 6th Day will be the first Blu-ray Disc released by a studio other than Fox to include D-Box motion control code. This extra track enables someone with D-Box hardware to enjoy rumbling and movement of their furniture timed to the action on screen.
Additional technical specs show Sony will present The 6th Day in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio.
