Taken 2 will not be available to purchase on Blu-ray and DVD until January at the earliest, but some early details are already out regarding Liam Neeson’s latest turn as a man with a particular set of skills.
Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for a Taken 2 Blu-ray combo pack that includes a DVD and a digital copy. They also are sharing the Taken 2 Blu-ray cover art which reveals the inclusion of a new unrated extended cut as well as the theatrical cut.
Taken 2 stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen, and is directed by Olivier Megaton. With over $119 million at the domestic box office thus far, a second Taken sequence seems like a formality at this point.
