The Kevin Costner-starring comedy Swing Vote has been cleared for a Blu-ray and DVD bow January 13, not ironically timed with the month’s Presidential Inauguration.
Touchstone and Buena Vista Home Entertainment will present Swing Vote on Blu-ray in widescreen 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD 48khz/24-bit audio.
Extra features are dominated by comedy tracks which hopefully follow the same comedic tone of the film. They are as follows.
- Inside the Campaign: The Politics of Production
- Deleted and Extended Scenes w/optional director commentary
- Audio commentary with writer/director Joshua Michael Stern and writer Jason Richman
Swing Vote on Blu-ray has been given an SRP of $34.99. A sneak peek at cover art is below with a nice high-res version coming soon.
