A new TV spot for Super 8 is making the rounds and while most of the footage you’ve already seen from the first Super 8 trailer, there are a few quick new shots sprinkled throughout.
One of the new shots shows what looks like a dumpster sliding out from behind a gas station where an investigating cop is caught off guard. Our Super 8 antagonist is likely just around the corner and this scene could be part of the gas station attack shown during the Super 8 preview to the media in New York and more recently Las Vegas.
As a whole, this new Super 8 TV spot is a perfect next step from the trailer while still managing to keep the antagonist a mystery.
Super 8 is directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. Look for it in theaters and on IMAX beginning June 10.
