Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Half Past Dead starring Steven Seagal and Ja Rule is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 12.
Half Past Dead will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and presumably 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio, though that has yet to be confirmed.
A trio of supplements have carried over from the DVD release and will be presented in standard def. They include a commentary with writer/director Don Michael Paul, deleted scenes, and “The Making of Half Past Dead” featurette.
Half Past Dead on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $28.96. High resolution cover art and pre-order information will be added in the near future, so check back regularly.
