As Starz’ ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’ ends its short six-episode run this Friday evening, the channel’s focus will shift to its next original programming gamble, ‘Camelot.’
Starz has revealed that following the conclusion of ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’ tonight will be some sort of ‘Camelot’ preview. I’d like to think this will include new footage not shown in the first trailer but we won’t know for certain until it airs in a few days.
‘Camelot’ stars Jamie Campbell Bower as King Arthur and follows the young knight as he follows his destined path. Co-starring are Eva Green (the upcoming Dark Shadows film) as Morgan, Tamsin Egerton as Guinevere and Joseph Fiennes as Merlin.
The ‘Camelot’ premiere date is April 1. In total there will be 10 episodes of Camelot in its first season with the finale airing in mid-June.
