The much-too-short ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’ series comes to a conclusion tonight but there is a silver lining. As the Spartacus franchise does on hiatus for another 11 months or so before Blood and Sand season two next January, ‘Camelot’ will try to help fill the void.
Starz is banking on the Spartacus crowd latching onto the premium channel’s newest original show ‘Camelot.’ Set around the life of King Arthur, ‘Camelot’ features a formidable cast including Joseph Fiennes, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eva Green and James Purefoy. Talent certainly won’t be an issue for Camelot to prove successful.
There is one caveat to the ‘Camelot’ premiere tonight: you’re only getting half the story. The full premiere on April 1 will run 2 hours so tonight you’re only getting the first half. I’d put the chance of ‘Camelot’ ending on some sort of cliffhanger at around 100%.
Check out a sneak preview scene from ‘Camelot’ below and be sure to tune in tonight after the ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’ finale for the one-hour preview.
