LucasFilm has released the first of what is expected to be several exclusive looks at a deleted scene from the upcoming Star Wars: The Complete Saga Blu-ray set.
The scene is set in the hallways of Echo Base on Hoth where Han and Leia have their heated exchange. It begins with what you see in the original theatrical cut, but then extends further down the hallway where Han and Leia continue their disagreement.

What do you think of Han and Leia continuing to go at it? I’m glad the cut was made as the dialogue doesn’t sound quite right, even for Star Wars standards. Han is whining almost as badly as Luke, and Leia sounds like she’s losing the battle with that time of the month.
I have seen all the deleted scenes for The Empire Strikes Back on Blu-ray and promise this one is not the best or longest to come from Echo Base. Read my preview report on the Blu-ray set here.
