SpongeBob SquarePants and the citizens of Bikini Bottom will make their first appearance on Blu-ray with Paramount and Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie on March 29.
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie originally debuted in November 2004 and made over $85 million at the box office. Guest-voices included Alec Baldwin and Scarlett Johansson. It remains the only theatrical release for SpongeBob SquarePants to date as interest in the show subsided in the subsequent years.
The only information about the Blu-ray version of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is that it will come in a combo pack configuration that includes the previously released DVD version. Other details will be shared as they are made available by the studio.
