Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Planet 51, starring the voice talent of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, Seann William Scott and John Cleese, is coming to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on March 9.
The kids adventure about an astronaut who lands on a planet of little green people that mistake him as part of a human “alien” invasion will come to Blu-ray in its original 2.35:1 aspect ratio in 1080p resolution and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
A DVD version and digital copy will be packaged into the two-disc Blu-ray set, along with a Blu-ray exclusive “Target 51” game with optional iPhone controller App download. The remaining bonus features are shared between Blu-ray and DVD.
