Sony might be keeping the aesthetics of the upcoming Playstation 4 console under wraps, but they’re more than willing to show off the new DualShock 4 controller that will accompany it at release.
We have seen plenty of high resolution images showing off DualShock 4 and also saw it revealed in video form during the PS4 event last month. To compliment and build upon the earlier reveal, Sony has released the equivalent of a two-and-a-half minute trailer for the new controller that highlights what’s new and what will be staying the same.
There are no real revelations made in the trailer as all the features have been discussed ad nauseam. It is refreshing to see the Sony team talk about the features one-by-one and see the controller up-close from conceivably every angle.
The comparisons between DualShock 4 and Microsoft’s new Xbox controller will commence on May 21 when Microsoft is expected to officially unveil the next Xbox console.
