Today Sony Pictures Home Entertainment officially announced the news we posted yesterday, confirming ‘Click’ will be the first BD-50 Blu-ray Disc title released when it arrives next Tuesday, October 10. Following ‘Click’ on the BD-50 march will be ‘Black Hawk Down’ on November 14 and ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ on December 12. All three titles were authored by the Sony Pictures Digital Authoring Center (DAC) and manufactured by Sony DADC.
The entire lineup of bonus features found on both ‘Click’ and ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ will be presented in high definition. ‘Black Hawk Down’ will not receive this treatment; however, it will include a new Blu-Wizard playlist technology that somehow allows you to “…customize the way you watch special features.”
The final list of extras to be found on ‘Black Hawk Down’ consist of an Audio Commentary with Author Mark Bowden, Screenwriter Ken Nolan, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Director Ridley Scott and U.S. Special Forces Veterans “93; and “The Essence of Combat ” Making Black Hawk Down” which includes 6 Featurettes.
