Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep, starring two-time Best Actress Oscar nominee Emily Watson, will be released April 8 on Blu-ray Disc with an SRP of $38.96. The release date is day-and-date with the standard DVD version.
The Water Horse will include 6 making-of featurettes and deleted scenes, regardless of version. Exclusive to Blu-ray Disc is The Water Horse: Virtual Crusoe Game, allowing viewers to care for their own virtual Water Horse.
Technical specs are not yet available, though we anticipate a widescreen 1080p transfer and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio. Once the specs are released, we will update the disc details page for The Water Horse accordingly.
