Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has passed along the full Blu-ray Disc specs and high resolution cover art for So I Married an Axe Murderer, due out on June 17.
In a rare move for the studio, So I Married an Axe Murderer will be released on Blu-ray without a single supplemental feature. “Bare Bones” editions have been few and far between during Blu-ray’s existence — especially from Sony — so this took us by surprise.
On the technical side, So I Married an Axe Murderer will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.
The lack of supplemental features doesn’t translate to a price break, though, with So I Married an Axe Murderer on Blu-ray carrying the standard Sony catalog SRP of $28.95.
