Universal Studios Home Entertainment has quickly followed up their announce of Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball on Blu-ray with news the original Smokin’ Aces starring Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liotta, Peter Berg, Jeremy Piven, Ben Affleck, Alex Rocco, Common, Alicia Keys, Chris Pine and many others will join it in high definition on the same January 19 release date.
Smokin’ Aces was previously released on HD DVD but will see an upgrade on Blu-ray. Audio will be bumped up to 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, D-BOX Motion Code will be included, and there will be BD-Live bookmarking and a news ticker on the main menu screen.
Other bonus features complimenting the 2.35:1 framed 1080p transfer include the following.
