Online retailer Amazon.com is continuing to infuse old Skylanders figures into their 2013 Black Friday deals week and more specifically lightning deals. Today’s big Skylanders sale is not from the new Swap Force but its predecessor.
At 4:10pm EST / 1:10pm EST today, Amazon will be heavily discounting the price on a trio of Skylanders Giants three packs, or triple packs. Each includes three figures and their respective cards and codes, and each normally retails for $25 each. The first pack includes Sonic Boom, Sprocket and Stump Smash; the second pack Gill Grunt, Flashwing and Double Trouble; and the final pack Prism Break, Lightning Rod and Drill Sergeant.
Considering Amazon has already sold single Skylanders Giants figures for $3 to $4 a pop this week during lightning deals and as recent at this morning, I expect these triple packs to be priced at most at $12.99 and possibly as low as $9.99. There are still a lot of new Skylanders collectors out there with holes in their collection and these Skylanders Black Friday deals are a quick and cheap way to fill them in.
If the Skylanders Black Friday deals that have already transpired are any indication, these triple packs won’t last long at all. Each will sell out within minutes, so be ready when the clock strikes the magic time in your time zone to grab the one(s) you want fast and check out.
