Literally moments after publishing news that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment was releasing “Silent Hill” on DVD August 22 and remarking it would be a perfect fit for Blu-ray, Sony updated their press website with, you guessed it, “Silent Hill” for Blu-ray.
The Blu-ray version will include anamorphic widescreen 2.40:1 1080p video and PCM 5.1 audio. It does not appear to be an eagerly anticipated 50GB dual layer disc.
“Silent Hill” on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $38.95.
