Michael J. Bassett has been tapped to direct Silent Hill 2 which has been officially named Silent Hill: Revelations and will be shown in 3D.
The sequel to Silent Hill will follow Heather Mason, a young woman plagued by nightmares on the eve of her 18th birthday. These nightmares will send her on a quest to locate her missing father.
The plot bears resemblance to the Silent Hill 3 game in which a teenage girl named Heather is pulled into Silent Hill’s alternate reality where her body is sought to give birth to a new god.
