Update: IGN has pulled down the trailer after inadvertently releasing it early. Look for the official one from Disney tomorrow.
It was my understanding that Disney would debut Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland teaser trailer tomorrow on Facebook shortly after the Disney panel at Comic-Con. Color me surprised when IGN posted up the trailer today.
This teaser is decisively Burton is design and execution, a strange blend of the fantastical and absurd. Lewis Carroll’s characters are familiar yet different, which is probably how the film will play out. Who knows what rabbits Burton has up his sleeve.
Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.
Tomorrow’s Facebook trailer reveal should be larger and of better quality, at which time I’ll take some screen grabs of each character to share.
