On Saturday, George Lucas confirmed the complete Star Wars film saga is coming to Blu-ray Disc with an approximate q4 2011 release date.
With the announcement he introduced one of the lost deleted scenes from the saga that will appear in the Blu-ray set. The scene takes place at the beginning of Return of the Jedi with Darth Vader calling out to Luke from a Star Destroyer, and Luke not responding as he finishes work on his new green lightsaber and stashes the weapon in R2-D2’s dome.
Lucasfilm apparently has no issue with the scene appearing online as it would have been pulled already if that were the case. So here you go, the lost Return of the Jedi scene from the Star Wars saga Blu-ray box set.
