Earlier this evening, Entertainment Tonight debuted the first teaser trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender. Thanks to it, I am now curious to see more
The minute-and-a-half trailer starts with the scene teased on Sunday where The Last Airbender practices in a circular room surrounded by candles. As he works his moves, he “bends” the air to snuff out candles in bunches until one final push knocks them all out.
From here the camera pulls back hard out through a door and beyond the room’s temple perched atop a cliff. The voiceover explains there are those willing to stop at nothing to kill The Last Airbender as a fleet of warships appears approaching the temple and begin to launch fireballs towards it.
Check back tomorrow morning for the expected unveiling of the trailer in high definition.
The Last Airbender, currently still in production, is set for release in 2010.
