Fox has unfurled the first look at 24: Season Eight via a brief 45-second promo trailer which you can play over and over again below.
In season 8, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is looking to settle down as a grandfather and embrace the new concept of becoming a family man. When a desperate and dangerous plea for help knocks on his door, being faithful to retirement is easier said than done.
The premiere episode for 24: Season Eight is set for January 17. No word yet on if Fox Home Entertainment plans to release a second season set on Blu-ray Disc, season seven being the first, to take advantage of the publicity.
