The first teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham City dropped on the Internet today and is a radical departure from the leaked screenshots of Harley Quinn and other Gotham villains seen previously.
The trailer, which looks to be live-action, features some sort of special ops team on a rain-drenched rooftop. As they mobilize and get ready to make a move, Batman appears and kicks their collective asses. Think the Dark Knight takes on Rainbow Six and you’ve got the right idea.
Batman: Arkham City is being developed by Rocksteady Studios but unfortunately is still a ways off from its fall 2011 release date. The gameplay-less trailer at least confirms it will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
