With Thursday’s 2013 San Diego Comic-Con Schedule lacking punch, Friday’s schedule has a much more diverse assortment of big and small screen high profile panels that will surely all have long lines to get into. Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect.
The first notable film or television panel on Friday is for The World’s End which reunites Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. It gets underway at 10am in Hall H and runs a full hour in length. At 10:30 Syfy will run its Defiance panel with the core cast on hand to share some insight on the upcoming second series of the show.
Invading Hall H at 11:15 am is a special video presentation attached to the new Veronica Mars movie. The cast including Kristen Bell, Francis Capra, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Chris Lowell, Tina Majorino and Krysten Ritter, along with creator Rob Thomas, will all be in attendance to discuss the first-look footage after it premieres. At 11:45, Battlestar Galactica co-creator Ron Moore will talk about the new Syfy series Helix in Room 6A.
Universal will take over Hall H at 12:15 for a panel consisting of its upcoming hard R-rated flicks Kick-Ass 2 and Riddick. Vin Diesel, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista and David Twohy will all be on-hand. At 12:30 in Ballroom 20 will be a Bones presentation with David Boreanaz on hand with the show’s producers.

Syfy’s Haven will have Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, and Adam Copeland, along with newcomer Colin Ferguson, on a panel in room 6DE at 3pm. David Hayter’s Wolves film with Jason Momoa and Lucas Till will be unveiled at 3:45 in room 5AB.
