San Diego Comic-Con Friday Schedule: Walking Dead, Kick-Ass 2, Veronica Mars and MoreWith Thursday’s 2013 San Diego Comic-Con Schedule lacking punch, Friday’s schedule has a much more diverse assortment of big and small screen high profile panels that will surely all have long lines to get into. Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect.

The first notable film or television panel on Friday is for The World’s End which reunites Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. It gets underway at 10am in Hall H and runs a full hour in length. At 10:30 Syfy will run its Defiance panel with the core cast on hand to share some insight on the upcoming second series of the show.

Invading Hall H at 11:15 am is a special video presentation attached to the new Veronica Mars movie. The cast including Kristen Bell, Francis Capra, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Chris Lowell, Tina Majorino and Krysten Ritter, along with creator Rob Thomas, will all be in attendance to discuss the first-look footage after it premieres. At 11:45, Battlestar Galactica co-creator Ron Moore will talk about the new Syfy series Helix in Room 6A.

Universal will take over Hall H at 12:15 for a panel consisting of its upcoming hard R-rated flicks Kick-Ass 2 and Riddick. Vin Diesel, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista and David Twohy will all be on-hand. At 12:30 in Ballroom 20 will be a Bones presentation with David Boreanaz on hand with the show’s producers.

Hall H will be a mad house at 1:35 when AMC’s The Walking Dead invades with a sneak peek at Season 4. Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Scott Wilson, and Chad Coleman will all be in attendance, along with Robert Kirkman, new showrunner Scott Gimple, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, Greg Nicotero, and moderator Chris Hardwick. Those that don’t get into Hall H for that panel might want to consider Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D at 1:45 with Jeph Loeb, Joss Whedon and surprise guests (Clark Gregg, anyone?) in Ballroom 20.

The X-Files gets a panel at 1:45 in room 5AB to discuss the IDW comic with creator Chris Carter. This would be the perfect time to announce either a new TV show or movie so be on the lookout for that. At 2:45, Hall H will erupt with HBO’s Game of Thrones panel to talk about the upcoming fourth season which is now in production.

Syfy’s Haven will have Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, and Adam Copeland, along with newcomer Colin Ferguson, on a panel in room 6DE at 3pm. David Hayter’s Wolves film with Jason Momoa and Lucas Till will be unveiled at 3:45 in room 5AB.

Sony and Screen Gems will take over Hall H at 4:05pm for a huge panel with new looks at Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and first looks at the RoboCop reboot and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Will Wheaton will be popping into room 6BCF at 4:30 to talk Falling Skies with the show’s cast and producers. New footage from the tail end of Season 3 will be shown.

FX’s Archer gets a full hour in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront at 5pm. The voice cast will be on hand.
