This April, Darth Maul makes his unlikely return in The Clone Wars animated series on The Cartoon Network.
While Ray Park played the Sith Lord in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, Being Human star Sam Witwer will provide his vocal talents to bring the character to life on the small screen. If Maul was mad at the Jedi before, he’s certainly going to be on the warpath after Obi-Wan Kenobi separated his legs from his torso.
MTV has published a video of Witwer and Clancy Brown (playing Maul’s brother, Savage Opress) hard at work in the studio. To my knowledge, this is the first time Maul’s new voice has been made public – though feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
The Clone Wars airs Friday evenings at 8/7 central on The Cartoon Network.
