New Line Home Entertainment has alerted retailers that ‘Rush Hour 3’ will be available December 26 on Blu-ray Disc with an SRP of $39.98, day-and-date with the standard DVD debut. ‘Rush Hour 3’ will not appear on HD DVD until sometime in 2008 due to that format’s lack of region coding required to keep overseas copies from being played in countries where the film has yet to be released theatrically.
We expect an official ‘Rush Hour 3’ announcement from New Line sometime next week, though can tell you now to expect an audio commentary, deleted scenes and a featurette. Additional information will come with the announcement.
