Roland Emmerich’s upcoming apocalyptic thriller 2012 appears to have persuaded Sony to bring one of his prior big budget action movies onto Blu-ray Disc.
A new active pre-order listing at online retailer Amazon.com has Roland Emmerich’s 1998 Godzilla starring Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno and Hank Azaria being released on November 3. 2012 arrives in theaters ten days later on November 13.
Sony will likely port over all the bonus features from the Godzilla: Monster Edition DVD release onto Blu-ray. I’ll have more information to share regarding extras and tech specs when Sony makes an official announcement.
