Rockstar Unveils GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony

Rockstar has announced the second expansion coming to Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360 will be titled “The Ballad of Gay Tony.”

In the expansion, you play not the title character but his assistant Luis Lopez. Luis is also a part-time hoodlum which makes him the perfect candidate to do Gay Tony’s bidding… whatever that may be.

Rockstar adds, “The Ballad of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime… players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.”

The Ballad of Gay Tony is scheduled for release this fall with a steep price of 1600 Microsoft Points, or $20.

At the same time, Rockstar will bundle the first Grand Theft Auto IV expansion, The Lost and Damned, with The Ballad of Gay Tony onto a disc that will retail for $40 on Xbox 360.

The first Gay Tony media should become available next week during E3. Check out the glitzy final logo below.
