EA, Harmonix, and MTV Games bring news Rock Band players have been clamoring for. On February 12, the much-anticipated Drum Kit and Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller will be sold separately for Xbox 360 and Playstation consoles (Playstation 3 and Playstation 2). These instruments can be combined with the game-only version of Rock Band to build a band one instrument at a time.
The Drum Kit will cost $79.99 and arrive on store shelves February 12 in Xbox 360 and Playstation versions. It will require a wire to play.
The Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller will cost $59.99 and arrive on April 1, also in Xbox 360 and Playstation versions. It will be of the wireless variety for true jamming freedom.
