Universal has unwrapped the details on the anticipated unrated director’s cut of Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt and Mark Strong, now definitively set for a Blu-ray Disc and DVD debut on September 21.
The unrated director’s cut will run 2:36, roughly 15 minutes longer than the 2:21 theatrical cut. No details are being offered right now on what that footage may include.
The three-disc Blu-ray edition will include a digital copy and the DVD edition on discs 2 and 3. Tech specs on the feature presentation are 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features are extensive including many Blu-ray exclusives, all of which you can peruse and soak in below.
