Sony really wants to you buy SOCOM 4 when it arrives in stores on April 19. So much so that they’re sweatening the deal with one heck of a lure.
Today Sony announced that specially marked packages of SOCOM 4 for PS3 will include a code to gain early access to the Resistance 3 beta. In addition, every set of the SOCOM 4: Full Deployment Edition will include the code.
If you’re planning on ordering the SOCOM 4 standard online and want to gain access to Resistance 3, you might want to change those plans. Going to a brick-and-mortar retail store is the way to go since, as you can see below, only SOCOM 4 packages with the little gold, white and black Resistance 3 logo on the front have the beta code inside.
Or, you could pre-order the SOCOM 4: Full Deployment Edition at Amazon for $149 and guarantee yourself the Resistance 3 beta access code and other goodies included in the mega-package.
