Select retail locations around the country have been running a playable Rayman Legends Wii U demo in kiosks set up in the video game section of their respective stores. The demo offers a handful of levels from the Wii U exclusive title that are worth playing through multiple times.
Those of you following the history of Rayman Legends are already aware it is a late Wii U launch window game and not expected in stores until March 2013. That’s a shame as it seemed to be one of the most polished and fun games that debuted at E3 earlier this year.
That’s the bad news. The good news is Ubisoft has confirmed a playable demo of Rayman Legends will be available to download for free via the Nintendo eShop when Wii U launches this Sunday, November 18. The assumption is this demo will be identical to the one available in stores. That’s OK either way as playing even a little of Rayman Legends at home is worth the download.
