Sony rolled out firmware version 2.17 for Playstation 3 last night with little fanfare.
The news comes courtesy the official Playstation blog where the update is described as improving the stability of some online titles. Which titles we simply don’t know.
You’ll be prompted for the update the next time you sign into the Playstation Network.
Sony is expected to roll out a firmware update this summer that will add profile 2.0, aka final profile, to the PS3 Blu-ray player.
