DVDEmpire has added a listing for Predator 2 indicating a special edition Blu-ray Disc debut on June 9.
In comparing a list of extra features published at DVDTown with those from the previously released DVD version, it appears Fox is porting over bonus features 1-to-1 and will not be adding anything new.
I’ve revised the extras that appear in DVDTown’s news post to better reflect what they are, as well as combined the two audio commentaries into one.
- Commentary by writers Jim Thomas & John Thomas and director Stephen Hopkins
- The Hunters and the Hunted
- Evolutions
- Something on the Roof
- Enemy in the Alley
- Subway Showdown
- Weapons of Choice
- Gauntlet Knives
- Self Destruct
- Plasma Cannon
- Net Launcher
- Smart Weapon
- Telescoping Spear
- TV Spots

- Jungle Revised
- Much Worse
- Thrill of the Hunt
- Trailer A, Trailer B, Trailer C
- The Predator Goes to Town (1990)

Disc specs will likely include a 1.85:1 1080p video transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Control is also a consideration but we won’t know until Fox formally announces the title.
SRP for Predator 2 on Blu-ray has been set at $34.99. We’ll check back with more information including Amazon pricing when available. In the meantime, check out high-res cover art by clicking through the disc details below.
