Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the acclaimed animated film Persepolis is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 24. Persepolis was up against Pixar’s Ratatouille for Best Animated Feature at last year’s Oscars and barely lost out.
Persepolis will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video with English and French 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio tracks.
Supplemental features include commentary on select scenes by the filmmakers; The Hidden Side of Persepolis featurette; the 2007 Cannes Film Festival Press Conference; and Animated Scene Comparison.
